Apple Pie Porridge
Ingredients:- 1 cup gluten free steel cut oats
- 1 cup no added sugar apple juice
- 1 cup water
- 2 T. coconut sugar (or brown sugar)
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/8 tsp. ginger
- 1 cup peeled, chopped apples
Directions:- In a pan, combine all the ingredients except apples.
- Bring to boil.
- Reduce heat, cover and cook for 20 minutes.
- Add apples and cook another 5 minutes or until your desired tenderness. (Don't cook too long or your apples will turn to sauce).
